Beacon NY Iconic Quaint Vibes


Ive lived in Beacon now for about 5 years and I have to admit its been quite the challenge to break into this market or perhaps with parenthood I simply haven't had the chance to try hard enough, with that said I came across Laurens post in search of a wedding photographer on a Facebook Group, her venue non other than The Roundhouse, probably one of the most stunning wedding venues in this area and best of all a literal walk away from my very own door step. I wasted no time and reached out directly, what did I have to lose? worst case she dubbed me a lunatic with no boudaries...lol but the best thing actually happened, she listened to my story and gave me a chance to show her my work and make my sales pitch! and just like that, I got my first Roundhouse bride, shooting a walk away from my home is the absolute best feeling and I cannot wait!! This past weekend we met in my favorite local trail in cold springs and then drove a few minutes up the road where we concluded our shoot in Beacon's iconic Main Street, grabbed some coffee and took some photos at The Wild, the new super trendy coffee BAR on Main....Michael was definitely thrown off by the fact that while it seemed like a coffee shop, it had a FULLY STACKED top shelf liquor bar...yeah man, that's pretty much what Beacon is all about!..lol
